The comedy show was great. Since moving here a month and a half ago I have met the most wonderful people through the Adventure Club and have been having a ball and staying busy! Thank you River Town Adventure Club for making Columbus HOME! -Sandy T.

I will be back from Iraq around June. So maybe I can get in on some of the fun this summer. You guys look like a great group and keep on having a blast. That's what me and the boys are fighting for. Robert from IRAQ 11/29/07

Not only had I made some new acquaintances, but new friendships were born as well. One in particular wound up being one of the best friends Ive ever known!

I did check out RiverTown Club web site, and it's very complete. My first thought was "Is there anything they DON'T do?" - Fritz

Really enjoyed my 1st event with you all. Like you said, everybody I met, (I didn't get around to all of them) were really cool. Looking forward to attending some more events. I'm telling my friends about the club. Catch ya later, Bill

I was able to go on the hike last month, and thought it was excellent.

First, thanks so much for all of your hard work to organize such an active and friendly group. I've only been to a few events so far, but I had good times and have especially appreciated the e-communication. It's nice to just log on and have so many choices for activities. Thanks - Kedrick

I'm taking this opportunity to say, good job! I was looking for ways to meet new and exciting people when I came across your website and was very impressed. I now feel the same way you did. Work-home -tv- sleep. I moved to charlotte with my fiancée approx 3 years ago but needless to say she was no good and things didn't work out. All my old friends are in NJ and I'm here. I really like Columbia and don't want to have to move again. I'll be registering today with the club cause it may be just what I'm looking for. Once again It looks like you really got something going with this club, Good Job! Sincerely- Jeff

Hi Greg! My name is Tony and I am a member. I am also on AOL so feel free to IM or email me with any questions. I am glad you have an interest in our outdoors group. I have been a member ever since and still enjoy meeting new members. I hope we can make your transition to Columbus easier. This group is filled with a lot of wonderful people. Take care, Tony

We had a blast! A really great group, I couldn't have asked for an easier group to lead.... particularly since I was the first one to crash on Saturday night and they had to lead themselves down the path of drinking, dancing, and late night eating!! The size of the group was perfect because we were all able to stick together. At no point did we go our separate ways really.

I have not been to that many events but I am impressed with the quality of leaders and people. What strikes me the most is the effort that the leaders put into these events and the genuinely friendly people I have met. - Cheri

The main reason I joined RTAC is to share activities with others and your group has the most diverse set of activities of any group in Columbus.

I love the club just for what it gives me. A great group of friends to hang out and enjoy common interest with. Honestly, if the club wasn't there, I would've moved to Portland, Oregon or Atlanta a last year. - Alex

When I joined RiverTown Club a month ago, I didn't know a soul in the club. I took a guy friend with me to my first event, but after that I went solo. At that first event, everyone was soooooo friendly that I soon felt that I was among a group of good friends! There are all ages represented in the club, from a 40+ "single again" women like myself to young adult guys and girls (like my 22 year-old daughter) who are looking to expand their circle of good friends and acquaintances while enjoying some fun sports and social events. We also have several couples (both married and unmarried) in the club, and they are just part of the group like everyone else, so you won't be alone.

In case you don't hear it, you not only have a good business, but a great service to those of us that want to meet others in town. Thanks! Rick

I'm really enjoying the club - met a lot of really great people in the month since I've joined. Joined the club to do the beginner climbing event and since then have gone to other events and everyone is great. Made new friends and done other events - it's a great club and glad to have found it. - Pat

I just had to drop you a note to tell you about my first event. I signed up for the Dance this past Friday night with Lynn as the leader. I emailed her in advance letting her know that this was my first event, I was coming alone, I was new to town, etc, etc. She emailed me back letting me know she would be there to make me feel comfortable. Well, she kept her word!! She greeted me at the door (it must have been the look of terror on my face that made her recognize me!!), walked me into the dance, and introduced me to the other earlybirds. Then several times during the course of the night she made it a point to check in on me and introduce me to the other members. I really had a great time!

I'm looking forward to participating in your organization. Thanks for providing this valuable service to the 'disconnected mobile masses'. - Julie

The California Wine Tasting was a lot of fun. Not only was the meeting location great (even though we filled it up beyond the max), the atmosphere was also very social. I noticed a lot of people walking from table to table, trying to meet several different groups of people. Also, even if someone decided to just stay seated, they had a great opportunity to get to know others at their table much better. Speaking personally, I met 3 great new gals who were at my table. Everyone was so nice and having such a good time! I also had a great conversation with a new guy at the bar. - Heather,The California Wine Tasting was a lot of fun. We had a great time shooting at the range. Again the women came out in full force and only one man was brave enough to join in the fun and games. But he didn't seem to let the fact that he was surrounded by women bother him. Our instructor, John, was great. And everyone shot well especially considering that several had never shot a gun before or hadn't in many years. And more importantly everyone had fun and enjoyed hanging out. After shooting we had a blast at Buffalo Wild Wings. Among other things, it was very entertaining listening as practically the whole place sang along to Living on a Prayer. -Sheri

This club is fantastic! The events, the people, the organization and the leaders. I had no idea all of the great social and community events the club hosts and/or supports! I'm thinking these guys define adventure as "jumping out of planes" but in reality the club does it all. This is fantastic for Columbus!! Susan
